MSN 'Fluffed' Results?

Results on pg 5,6,7,8 & 9 all the same

While checking rankings for a potential client today I noticed that the search results on MSN seem to be having some problems. The search ("ecommerce") brought up a reported "16" pages, but I can only seem to access up to page 5. Pages 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9 are all the same. Not just the same results, but the same page. Has anyone else noticed this glitch?

I've never seen MSN go beyond 250 results.

I've tried the search again on another computer and browser and am no long seeing this. I guess it was just that day and time on that computer.

Why does MSN stop at page 25? Just curious.

well, who (besides marketers, webmasters and other insiders) ever really looks past the first few pages?

It could be to make the results less intimidating. Sometimes when I query something Google will report "12,533,562" or whatever insane number of results. I don't want to look through that many pages, even if I could and I give up after a page or two. But if the SE truncated the list to, say, 250 now I'm thinking "well, that's a lot, but I can probably find something good there."

Yes, I know I should reform my query if I get too many results, but how many people (really) know how to use a search engine well?
