I have a bizzare (and regular) experience with MSN:
I have a site that has a good performance in MSN.

Whenever msnbot deep crawls my site, the MSN index shows mydomain.com/ and mydomain.com/index.html as two separate pages for the same seacrh query for a while. And it has a consistent pattern: index.html starts from lower positions, and climbes upward for a couple of days until it is dropped alltogether in favour of the mydomain.com/ All my internal as well as inbound links are in the form of mydomain.com/

Is there anyone with a similar experience, and a way to solve this problem?
Thank you in advance.

I was getting that as well. I tracked it down to an internal page that was linking to index.html instead of just www.domain.com for it's 'Home' link.

It usually clears itself up after a few days and hasn't had any effect on my search rankings that I've noticed.
