It was a great expo at Pubcon 10 Vegas, Great sessions this year and I am very excited to see more traffic from top words placed in MSN Search....

I love the engine but really it does need some more traffic. I think the web space will always continue to grow and SEO companies will strive to get better thought the years. It has only been 1yr for MSN and look how far they have made it. I rank well for all SE but like everyone else we like accurate results when searching.

What types of thoughts are around the SEO world?

Thanks Brett.... Great Job for 2005

Hi Wrocka,

Good to meet you there and thanks for coming into MSN!

I think most people in here are wanting MSN to gain market share. Quality of results will be the main driver for them to achieve this of course, however many fancy new platforms and toys everyone finds and develops.

The good news for MSN is that spammers are still trying to get Google traffic. Bad news for MSN is that anything that got nuked by Jagger on Google still works great on MSN, so MSN's result quality still gets tarred at the moment. This is being counter-acted by MSN integrating stuff like Encarter, but I am not entirely sure that this helps us as an industry. Let's hope it helps the users though.

Yes - great strides made so far, but still work to do.

I am pretty sure they will not shrink from the task though. In fact I am counting on it.

Dixon.
