Fritzms Noted in algoupdate part 2:

looks like MSN have updated their algo today and is now showing .com urls that are UK based again, i for 1 am very happy as we are back up into no 1 position for our .com url after it got dumped 2 weeks ago in the last update. Good work MSN, glad you are on the case and are prepared to listen to people unlike the "stock" answers you get from "other" search engines ;-)

Great news so glad that MSN can fix their bugs.

However, still don't understand why UK folks are forced to only see UK results (or mainly UK results) when they do a search.

What then is the use of the "only UK" option?

Good to see .com sites back in the UK mix and it's great that MSN is prepared to acknowledge "issues" and take action.

Have to agree with cleanup - I cannot see the use of the "only from UK" option. "Only from UK domains" would better clarify these results.

It may just be me but....

when I adjust my settings to show more than 10 results on a page MSN are only showing 30-40 results total.

I agree with the concept of this update (if it is about re-including .com UK IP based domains) but I get the feeling they forgot to plug in a few databases with this change
