So when is microsoft supposed to start the mass promotion of its new search engine that is supposed to rival with google? Because now it is nowhere close to google mass usage.

I think you'll find the "mass" will come when they launch a new operating system and a new version of I.E. and a new version of office.

When you find your replacement computers arriving with Longhorn or whatever they'll call it, it will be pretty much impossible to ignore, unless they lose their grip on the operating system.
