We have an online dictionary that has been online for more than 10 years. The dictionary is in English, but also shows words from other languages.

Recently, bing shows the name in the first line in Telugu. This name does not appear anywhere on the website. Previously there were no problems.

The search was done from Germany with German as language. But even if you change the language to English the result remains the same.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix the problem?

Not sure there is much you can do from your end to "fix it" as the translation is on bing's side, not yours.

Please confirm that the same thing happens on different browsers in different locations.

It is not considered a real word, though often used in place of 'spiel' Like a sales schpiel...
That might have contributed to bing's confusion.

schpiel was just an example. It's shown for every search query, independent of the language (I tried English, German and Latin words). Even a site search shows all entries with a title in Telugu.

And it's not browser-related (I tried Chrome, Firefox, Edge). I have no hint that this problem depends on the location. I did a search with three different IPs (all from Germany).

Yah, I've sometimes seen “shpiel” like that in Yiddish-related contexts, but “schp” simply doesn’t occur. (I never learned a formal rule, but the complementary distribution of s:sch is easy to work out.)
