Get more pages indexed by MSN

I have a site that's about 7 months old.

I have 500 indexed pages in MSN, 17000 indexed on Google.

I get really good SERPS by MSN, but I still have some sites that needs to be indexed so I can get more keywords up.

I have 15 pages with different keywords, only 1 page of them has been indexed, and I've got msn ranking #1 for that page. And I believe that's the most compeditive keyword of them 15. And I really want to get the other 14 pages indexed.

What should I do to get them indexed, link them from the frontpage or something?

I would suggest reading their 'webmaster help' and pay special attention to the 'number of clicks from the home page' line.

Just an idea.

I just found a page for Site Owner, but I couldn't find the line you wrote, can you post the url?

at: [search.msn.com...]

"Create a site map that is fairly flat (i.e., each page is only one to three clicks away from the home page)."

Use only well-formed HTML code in your pages. Ensure that all tags are closed, and that all links function properly. If your site contains broken links, MSNBot may not be able to index your site effectively, and people may not be able to reach all of your pages.

All pages validate for Transitional XHTML 1.0. No links are broken.

If you move a page, set up the page's original URL to direct people to the new page, and tell them whether the move is permanent or temporary.

No pages have been moved.

Make sure MSNBot is allowed to crawl your site, and is not on your list of web crawlers that are prohibited from indexing your site.

It's allowed my robots.txt is empty and I use <meta name="robots" content="index,follow" /> on all pages.

Use a robots.txt file or meta tags to control how MSNBot and other web crawlers index your site. The robots.txt file tells web crawlers which files and folders it is not allowed to crawl. The Web Robots Pages provide detailed information on the robots.txt Robots Exclusion standard. This site may be available in English only.

My robots.txt is empty

Keep your URLs simple and static. Complicated or frequently changed URLs are difficult to use as link destinations. For example, the URL www.example.com/mypage is easier for MSNBot to crawl and for people to type than a long URL with multiple extensions. Also, a URL that doesn't change is easier for people to remember, which makes it a more likely link destination from other sites.

All urls uses mod-rewrite.

I have a sitemap that's linked from every page in the footer. And the sitemaps contains about 50 links.

I've tried to link one of the pages I want included, from the footer with the correct anchortext. I added the link yesterday, so I guess it's just to wait some days and see if it gets indexed. If it works, its just to randomize the links in the footer and get all indexed.

If you have it all linked up, just waiting is the best idea. M has had some issues lately with checking site: they appear to be fixed now, but still bounce once in a while.

It also appears to me that some times they know about your pages before they show up, I have had it take up to two weeks before I can see the page. Most of the time you can tell pages have been indexed by checking the number of results... top right... on the 1st pageof the site: search results. When you see that number start to go up, my experience has been, the pages are indexed and will begin to show within a couple of weeks.
