On of my competitors has cloned my website / bought www.example.net and uploaded my content to it. He has placed hidden linke to this .net from his site and so MSNbot has picked it up.
Now MSN search for Example shows #1. Cloned site on NET #2. Example.com

What should I do?
Will MSN determine that the .net is a clone?
He has logo showing MySite.com on the net.
Should I rush to change my content?
(site linking to CLONE is high rated at MSN)

One thing he forgot he has not removed the
<link href="http://www.example.com/mysite.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

I have changed the name of the css file that I use for my site, and now I am thinking of how I could take advantage of this forgotten CSS that is still liked to me. I know I can mess up the colors/fonts and look of the stolen site, but they would notice that soon and change it.

Is there some way to use this to REDIRECT the users to the original site?
-Load an iframe using CSS?
-Load some script using CSS?

If it was me and someone had my content on a site I would send both the site owner and the host a very blunt C&D...

Not something I would let someone mess with when they could destroy my livilhood.

If what you say is true, and your site is original content, making it protected by copyright, if the material is not removed immediately, his host will take his site down upon receipt of the C&D letter, because if they do not they are liable for damages.

The standard 'I am not a lawyer, just my opionon, please consult your lawyer' disclaimer applies to this post.

BTW I have seen sites in violation of copyright infringement removed from the web by the host within 2 hours of a C&D via e-mail.
