I got enough traffic from Google but just wondering about Bing. I got maximum of 10 visits per month from Bing.

Just looking for the ways to increase traffic from Bing search engine other than Google.

Could you please guide me for the same?

Thanks in advance.

Persuade more people to use Bing!

Assuming no discrepancies in the SERPS between the two then the difference is down to the popularity of G among the public.

Hi @Piatkow, thanks for your reply. It's true that Google is more popular than any other search engines but how can I get engaged people to Bing. What are the strategies to do so. Could you please give some of them?

Microsoft has been trying to do this for years, and they don't have an answer.

As piatkow says, it's down to people whether they choose to use Bing, or any other search engine.

In any case, if you tell all your friends to use Bing, and they stop using google, they are only switching one to the other, and there will be no additional traffic.

Wait a year or so. G is doing a good job of alienating their own "customers" with uneven to poor search results, which is not happening at Bing (at the moment). Many a g fan/user who tries Bing become instant converts... it is just taking time for that info to get out.

So, we've to just wait and watch. Let's see what happens.

As engine notes, there is a fixed (growing larger daily, of course) number of users out there divided between the many search engines available. Even if you get more Bing in future, you might not be getting more traffic overall. It is a wait and see kind of thing.

Increasing your rankings on Bing might bring some additional traffic. Unfortunately, I have no real pointers in that regard. Often times, the Bing search results don't make a whole lot of sense to me. There isn't much discussion about the topic here, possibly for the same reason.

@audreyzack, I am in the same situation as you. I used to think it was, as people here have been saying, due to Bing's small market share, but I now doubt that seriously.

My daily traffic from Google is sufficiently large, that if the market share argument were true I could expect regular daily traffic from Bing. This is simply not the case, my bing traffic has not changed, I get 1 bing user for every 10,000 Google users.

Yeah @NickMNS. There's a case. If we could get at least 1/4 of Google traffic for Bing, we can think where will be our business in next few years.
