How long to get into serps

Hi all,

with the sandbox i thought i should get up to speed on msn.

I have a new information site on widgets. Msn has found it. I do the domain name search and there she is. MSN has also get 25 links pointing to the domain.

It is a simple seoŽd site, so no problem with spidering.

How long before msn places the site in the serps for its relevant keyeords?

any ideas?

ouch so little attention means this has to be a real dumb question.

link:www.domain.org -domain:www.domain.org gives me 49 links.

but domain:www.domain.org just gives me the home page.

So from when msn gets your index page how long until you start appearing in the serps.

I have gone 1000 results deep and still not there.

Do i need to forget about this for a while?

As this is a new site, I'd keep working on improving it and especially on getting incoming links from other sites. Don't sweat it for a while. Keep moving forward, get on topic links, expand the site.

The search engines will catch up with you when they're ready.
