I know that I can check if mysite.com has been indexed by MSN by entering "site:www.mysite.com" in MSN Search. But how about a page page1.html. Can I search for: site:www.microsoft.com/page1.html? I tried that with a page of which I'm sure it has been indexed but I get zero seacrh results for that. How does it work?

Try it for a page on someone else's site that you CAN find in MSN. Them you will know for sure :)

To make sure your checking procedure works, that's all.
IF it works for a known page elsewhere, but not for your page, you can presume your particular page is not indexed yet. -Larry
