Facebook announced this morning a deal with Microsoft: they're dropping the Microsoft ads; in turn, Microsoft gets to power the search box in Facebook.
What is Bing's marketshare now? They're in Yahoo (#3) and Facebook (#2).

Ah, the essence of Facebook. It seems like they are well on the move. What the final end to their moves will be is yet to be seen. An interesting take I just found on auctionbytes titled Study Shows Online Shoppers Look for Sales on Facebook.
I tried to post the link to the article but it keeps getting scrambled. So, let me do it a more covert way. It's auctionbytes .com/cab/abn/y10/m02/i10/s04

It started. Do a search in Facebook. The web search results are powered by Bing.
That was fast.

Just wait until Bing powers the Iphone search as well.
With Apple now suing HTC over Android, they have taken the gloves off and what was once a cozy relationship has given way to all out war even if it does mean they align with MSN for a period of time while they get their own search together.
