I think the Bing homepage is extremely "sticky" When ever I land on the bing homepage I have a look at the image currently being displayed and have a bit of a poke around with the mouseover tips and links.
I think in this case an attractive image with related information that changes daily is an incredibly clever thing to do. it is interesting to note that all the images are from Corbis which is owened by Bill Gates.

Yeah, but after you look at the pretty pictures.........

I do sometimes...
Not sure why, but Google, for a few search terms, seems to come up with tons of spam/junk sites and I get better results with Bing.

I'm using Bing nearly 2 to 1 these days.

I'm using Bing a lot more than Google these days, but I think the homepage design is a great marketing took. Its not just design, there is reason for it. I think of it as more of a marketing tool than a homepage design.

I check Bing's home page nearly every day. Their photograph of the day never disappoints.
However, like ken_b says I still use Google for the majority of my searches even though I think the Bing results are fine.

My main reason for starting this thread was to see if anyone would say what I was thinking. The homepage in almost habbit forming. Many googlers use Google through habit. It's the habbit googlers that Bing needs to go after.

I think Bing's daily theme encourages visitors to return. Not only that, I also think it encourages people to tell their friends about it. It's pure genius.
"Hey dude, check out Bing. It's got ____ on it!"

Fun thing about Bing is that even with js off or FF with NoScript ratcheted tight, the site is very functional.
