Duplicate content penalty?

Site with .com and .nl domain, will this hurt my ranking?

I have a .com and a .nl domain pointing to the same content. Works great for Google, consistent top three results over the last years. Only the .nl domain is listed. All incoming and internal links point to the .nl domain.

In MSN search the site currently has separate listings for both domains, on page 3 for the .com domain and page 6 for the .nl domain. Not so good...

If I set {popl=100} both domains are on page two of the search results for my main keyword. Still not what I would expect. (the cache date for the .com domain is today!, the .nl domain has no cache date, but the cached page is a week old)

Will having two domains pointing to the same content hurt my ranking? Will I have to do a redirect of some kind? If so, could this influence my Google ranking?

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

MSN is so new its hard to say what the allegro for this will be. We defiantly see that they don;t have a very good duplicate content filter so expect this to be something "adjusted" in the future. As for a penalty, don't expect that but why even chance that as you should move everything into one name this will not only increase the value of the content it will ensure that you never run into any problems.
