Webmaster tools unserious?

I get an uneerie feeling using it...

Plus little details that make me feel as if this isn't a serious service that Microsoft provides. Why would such a rich company not be able to beat Google's crappy Sitemaps dashboard?

They're just trying to soften up the old Evil Empire image with a little humor... It's a new fun, playful Microsoft. Think of Steve Ballmer as your best bud... :)

Didn't know about MSN's webmaster interface. So I've just tried to sign in. Created an account, refused to give personal details. They won't let me sign in.

Not particularly worried as they don't send us much traffic anyway, despite scraping our sites with a range of different robots.
