MSN/Live IP Search Command - Privacy Issue?

Doesn't the MSN/Live IP search function pose a privacy issue?

Has anyone used the IP fuction on MSN?

IP:00.00.000.00

It returns all the domains residing on the server.

I personally had never come across a tool like that. I guess I need to browse more sites. :)

Even so, this or any other tool that does the same seems to me poses at least some privacy issues. Private WHOIS info may not mean much if one domain is registered as private and others on the same server aren't (assuming all domains are owned by the same person).

But some IPs have hundreds of domains (e.g., shared hosting), so there are many reasons why all the domains aren't owned by the same person. Someone who is really paranoid about their privacy should either use private WHOIS info for all domains or use multiple IP addresses.
