The top-10 serp for a main key phrase displays my client's url with ?source=www.anothersite.com? appended. It looks very much like the tracking code I'd use for a Yahoo or AdWords ad.
The link itself works fine, but can anyone help me understand whats going on?

My guess is that someone is linking to your client's site using that URI.
Does your client have an advertising relationship with "www.anothersite.com" - using that link?
