Hi all,

Why MSN drops index page priority? i.e., if I search site:mydoamin.com my URL it is not showing index page as a first place, inner page is coming. The main index page is shown at 6th or 7th place.

My site is almost 2 years old, it performed well be getting 2nd & 3rd Positions for all my top performing keywords in MSN.com but from last one month the index page has been moved/reduced to 6th place.Even I have resubmitted index page to MSN.com but it didn't worked out.

Can any one tell me what's the reason for dropping and also tell me how I can get index page as a first result.

Waiting for the reply,
James Peterson

I am having this same problem, does anyone have a clue? Or is does live just have a bad algo?

The weird problem for me is, I am having this problem with a clients site, where a domain name query brings a subpage result, but the client runs multiple similar sites, all of which are under our oversight, and this result only happens for one of the sites.

Who has the answer?
