I have one particular website which has a 301 redirect from the non-www to the www version of the site and still Live.com shows homepage as WEBSITE.COM, while all other pages as www.website.com.
No idea why the non-www homepage is in CAPITAL either :P
Any insight about this matter will be more then appreciated, thanks a lot.
Welcome to WebmasterWorld.
There have been reports from other stating that MSN has a problem with 301s. Personally, I don't have any problems getting indexed (only ranked).
You might also notice that this particular forum is pretty quiet. That's because many here have given up on Live.com ever getting straigtened out. Still, it is nice to be able to rank appropriately so people do check in from time to time.
Be patient, others will eventually reply too.
I wonder too if it is a problem or if MSN search is simply not used much. When I look at "industry figures", it does seem very low compared to those figures.
But I'm not going to change something as fundamental because MSN is buggy. I'm just giving up.
