How many of you guys have MSN.com as your home page?
- I don't.

The new MSN.com homepage is much better than before, but would i still make it in my homepage?
-No

Would I ever make MSN.com my homepage?
- Well, if they slim down the page as much as the current Google.com main page, then i would definitely think about it. (I know the search.msn.com page is pretty slim and clean, but it is not to my taste). They could probably convert the main page to something like Google.com main page, just a little more trendier and with a big msn logo, and they would keep a "more>>" link which would then lead to a fully loaded page (like the current MSN.com homepage)

That would appeal to me a lot! What about you guys?

Yahoo search added a very neat and very unique functionality to their home page about three weeks ago that has found it's way to the new MSN.com homepage. They've even copied the design elements of the colored box with the bottom pointer almost pixel for pixel. Wow.

I pointed out this feature here [webmasterworld.com].

This sort of thing keeps me from even wanting to check rankings on msn.com, let alone make it my homepage. ::sigh::

Actually, that <tab> thing has been around awhile. And there's nothing wrong with copying good ideas. No need to reinvent the wheel EVERY time.

I'm not making MSN my homepage yet, either. Maybe if Google continues sandboxing my sites I'll consider it...

Well, they obviously didn't test the new page very well as it doesn't render worth a darn on my MacIntosh, nor does the search window work properly!

It cuts off the first letter of anything I type and when you try to go back to fix it, the box disappears! Pretty shoddy if you as me!

I also have to scroll all the way left to see the page. Come on Bill! Have the lab boys do a little more testing before rolling this stuff out!

Oh well ... I'll stick to Google for now anyway!
