MSN backlinks - ever coming back?

Just to make certain, the Microsoft live search backlinks still aren't working right?

If I remember correctly, they disabled it at the end of March which would make it just about six months to the day or so...

Someone told me you can still get backlinks when running Vista? Or is that nonsense?

Can you imagine Google or Yahoo disabling one of their main search engine features for six months?

i think i read it will be back in their new webmaster tool system.

don't know if you'll be able to do it from the engine though.
