MSN Live Search Copied Google Look?

Has anyone else noticed that the new results showing in MSN Live search looks practically identical to Google results now? The colors and setup are almost a perfect dupe of Google now. Looks like they just set it like that one 11 Sep 07. Can't they come up with something better instead of just copying Google? I thought MSN has a lot of money?

Not really, in fact I'm seeing some stuff today that's kind of unique, including a geo-targeted regional information link underneath the search box. Right now, it looks like they're tinkering.

Yahoo copied them alot sooner than MS did.

10 little blue links...only so many ways.

MS still has the handy "Related searches" that G (mistakenly) did away with.

Hm, weird, maybe I am seeing different results then. I am not signed in so that wouldn't have anything to do with it. I saw the usual design this AM, then a couple hours later I thought I had messed up and went to Google only to see MSN looked almost identical. Interesting. Oh, and those related searches are great, I agree.

We're getting a preview of things to come:

I'm not signed into anything with them, though those that are might get more behavior-specific results. They're "cloaking" by location. :-)

Marcia,

Thanks. I am excited to see how it all goes. I have high hopes for MSN as I think they can really do a better job and are getting better now. Good to see as I would rather there be more than one major player in search to make things more fair to all. The related searches are a great feature to be sure!
