I have the following problem:

google: 152,000
yahoo: 75,000
live: 2,000

A little about the site. It is the offical turist promocion site of a region/state in Spain (think texas or sussex).
It is recognised in both google and yahoo as authorative, not surprisingly it has bucket loads of quality backlinks. Now that was the good news.

The bad news is that this site is a real pig. The typical url structure is:

[widgets.com...]

the site is code heavy, and loads of other on page factors make it a ugly job to optimise.

We got the site map to work and that enabled both yahoo and google to capture our pages. But not MSN.

What can be done to get live to cache more of our pages?

I have read through lots of threads here, but not come across any hard recommendations.

Does msn search have a known problem with loads of variables in a url?

any ideas greatly welcomed .....

I don't believe there's any remedy for you at this time.
The MSN Algo can't even index clean URL's...
My new pages are showing up finally, but it's taking months.
Perhaps someone else has an idea.
Good luck, Fish Texas
