MSN Dup Penalty

How long do they last

I had a 301 redirect disappear out of my Htaccess sometime this month, I found it after I was looking for reasons as to why all of a sudden our website also dissapperad out of MSN .

what are your opinions ..could having 301 redirect disappear have caused a dup penalty and if so anyone have any ideas or experiance how long it last after you fix your redirect?

The only other thing I did was add links to our fourm..which btw is the only thing showing up in mSN for us

I really don't think this is the case as I did the same thing and had no problems. Maybe there was something else that triggered it? Have you checked all the sites you linked to and looked to see if they were still in the search engines, that may be a good starting point to find out what happen.
