Do a search for [edit]no specifics please[/edit]and Google shows as #4 - HOW?!?
Please, MSN Dude, stop by and give me the down-low on how is this possible, what kind of algo would put google.com on this position for this keyword. All of you guys should be fired, and a completely new team should be assembled immediately.

[edit reason] removed a porn search query [/edit]
2 of the 3 words i searched for are in domain name.
Depending on your targeted market, pay attention to the parameter in you bar ( mkt=xx.XX ), since results could be local.
For example for US English
mkt=en-US
You can change it manually or you can modify it in the options:
[live.com...]
Ranking can differ a lot....
Still incompetent disappeared entire domains.
Also, probably related to 301s, the results are almost astonishing in how they don't rank index pages of domains for main keywords. In case after case I see an authority domain with an internal page as the top result, even though it is in no way a better result than an index page for that query. This makes the results look silly, but more troubling is that it reflects MSN's fouled up technology.

This is so true.
This has been going on for months. How long does it take to fix a bug like that? Here is a suggestion - give Google a call and ask them how to fix this mess :)
