Cache Anyone?

Is anyone else having problems getting spidered?

Lately it seems we have seen a definite lack of Msnbot activity around, though Live seems to be spidering intensely.
With Msn, we have a cache date of Aug 21, and still is showing a blank page for the actual cache. I wonder if whatever anonomaly caused us a blank cached page is what is now keeping MSNBot from coming back. Any ideas anyone?

There has been quite a bit of talk about this over the summer in other threads, most recently here [webmasterworld.com].

For my site, my homepage's last cache was August 19. I am running on a two week update cycle. However, as I said in message number #3068302 [webmasterworld.com] (geesh those are big message numbers), I think improved crawling is a high priority for them right now.

hmmmmm...

Seems we have now been spidered and somewhat new cached;
however, now when doing a search for unique company name
the index page shows up in Serps, but no "show more results from"...

what did I mess up this time

My homepage shows a cache from yesterday now. Still, a two week lag which has been the case for several months now.
