I have a few web sites. My domains are with one company and my hosting is with another. So i use url cloaking so the underlying link doesn't show up, just the domain name does. Up to this point, no seach engine has been able to recognize url cloaking well enough to rank my web sites in the top 100, but all of my sites are ranked in the top 5 on the new MSN beta search, even my own name homepage is ranked in the top 5 and i never even got around to submitting my web sites yet as the MSNbot had already found them and ranked them. I didn't even need to submit my web sites!
Seems like to me the new MSN search is doing a lot of searching and filtering, almost like it is ranking actual url domains names (www.blah.com) higher than the no-name mile long url hosting accounts (members.blah.blah.blah.html) to get a more accurate search result.
