Mystery referrals from MSN search

I'm getting referrals from MSN search that I cannot duplicate when I do the same search on currently live MSN, Beta MSN search, or Yahoo.

The searcher may have a different location set under SETTINGS than you do.

Or, they may have allowed more under GROUP RESULTS or another setting.

ALternatively, MSNdude is just toying wiht you. ;-)

I had considered that possibility, but this particular site got dropped/banned during the Yahoo/Inktomi purge early this year.

When I search for the domain itself, the only results returned are other sites that link to or mention my site. It's also absent from the MSN tech preview and Beta.

This has been going on in spurts of several hours at a time. In a few hours, out a few hours, in again for a few hours. And even during periods when it is "in", I still cannot duplicate these results or find the domain listed, while referrals are coming in both before and after my own attempts.
