MSN Bot

moving right along

While most of us have been focused on Yahoo/Ink and the 30 day wait for a backlink update from Google, MSN Bot is moving right along spidering all of our sites and I'm sure millions of others, too. I have no way of knowing what their index will look like when they go live, but their spider is very fast and is going very deep at least this time around. I hope in the next few months we'll see some kind of introduction to this new database. I'm really kind of excited to see what Bill and crew come up with.

I get zero traffic from them so I'll be one happy guy once they start. Spidered my site several times already. Let's go Bill!

the second one predicts the death of Google. Bad mistake. The first article says the spiderign is almost done. Come one guys, release a beta or something, no matter how beta. I can't get less than zero traffic from you :)

I know IBM spiders my site too, but are they coming up with something (pure SE) or just researching?

After alot of thinking and reading. I can't help but think that of all the SEs, MSN will be the one to watch this year.

Can anyone doubt that with their huge reach through such software applications as MS Office, IE, and to lesser extent: Encarta, MS Streets amongst others that Microsoft won't make use of these to expand on their domination? (let's not forget about the eventual release of Longhorn)

Of course this is all in light of not knowing what exactly their approach will be regarding us webmasters.
