Is MSN updating their current searchbase?

"Microsoft's Commitment to Search" in limbo for now

For many weeks I haven't noticed any updates to Microsoft's search results in the matters of interest to me. Their 'bot is out and about, but the data itself isn't being added. I realize that bot is for their own search engine not yet online, but the current Inktomi database is getting very, very stale, IMO.

Yahoo doesn't seem to be giving MSN the freshest of feeds... Their feed is the Inktomi one, without trusted feed or sitematch, and I doubt MSN has much choice in the matter since Yahoo was probably never contracted to supply data from the newer services.

I launched a new site at the end of May. It has been showing in Yahoo for three months now with a lag of about a month. Presently showing about 200 pages in Yahoo (out of around 350), Zero in MSN.

Results look better than the first preview.

Still seeing some spammy "here's all the affiliate programs I signed up for" pages though in the business SERPs I monitor.
