MSN makes good on its promise to give free Hotmail users new features.

Looks like Microsoft is taking a page out of Yahoo's book with its new free services for Hotmail users. Features like like calendaring, task lists, notes, and reminders.
The calendar feature sounds interesting. However, it seems that this addition will not be available until the fall: [imagine-msn.com...]

My Hotmail account has a calender button there today! (It doesn't work mind - simply says it has an error - but I guess if they are upgrading it all as we speak, that may be a temporary blip.
No Task lists yet and doesn't feel very Outlook like. I don't know whether it is upgrading or not - I never really looked at the hotmail features until now.
