A loser worth P/E 6x?

If I was M$, I would not buy YHOO at current price.

PE ratio is an important parameter in valuation but it's not the only one. Think patents, brands, cash flow, debt, enterprise value, CAGR etc etc.

but before M$ said she will acquire Yahoo, Yahoo' PE is still 3x, so the market has already know the price of Yahoo.

to me, If Yahoo is looking for money and some Yahooers hate M$, I suggest Yahoo try to ask AOL to buy Yahoo.
