Transferring RAM from Imac g3 to g4

I just upgraded from my Imac g3 to a new imac g4. Does anyone know if the ram can be moved from my g3 to the g4? If it's possible does anyone have detailed instructions on how to do it? Thanks in advance.

Sorry. Different RAM. The early G3 iMacs used tiny, expensive PowerBook RAM. The later G3 iMacs used 168 pin PC100 DIMMs. The newest G4 iMacs use DDR333 200 pin SO-DIMMS.
