Question about Wordtracker

I would like to find the popularity and frequency of a pre-determined list of 200 words. Does WT have a 'no frills' method of checking the popularity of these words? With the volume I'm dealing with, it is no longer an option to manually enter each word.

I'm looking for a solution that provides quick reports, output as text, or in Excel. If someone knows of a service other than WT that will do this, please let me know.

Doesn't the project "import" feature of WT allow you to enter 100 at a time?

The only thing I can think of is for you to try WordTracker's import function or to use Google's advertising keyword tool. I think that one allows you to paste many keywords. I do PPC advertising with Google so I usually send them a list and they send me the average number of impressions, perhaps you could look into that. Otherwise, I don't know of any other tools.

I searched around a bit on their site and answered my own question.

"2. Number of Keywords per Search Top Return to the chart>>
The main Wordtracker keyword database where you find out how popular your chosen words are.

The full database returns up to 500 keywords for each search. You may also enter any number of your own keywords. The free trial returns 15."

I often use Wordtracker to do what you want to do (I have a paid subscription) by using "exact" or "precise" as the Wordtracker setting (not sure which one at the moment). It can certainly handle 200 words and I believe many more. Just email the results to yourself and them paste them into excel. Then I put everything in nice columns in excel by doing a find and replace on ", " (i.e. comma space space) with "¦" and then in excel go to "Data" -> "text to columns" and then use "¦" as the delimeter.
