Hi All,

Of course, keyword density is only a small factor in optimising any pages, however, assuming every thing else is perfect; I just wanted to see if I match everyone elses opinions on this.

What is the minimum and maximum keyword density?

Minimum: 5% of all text (including links) on the page
Maximum: 30%

Aim: Usually around 15%

Depends how i feel, and how many words are part of the term, the more specific the term, as in longer, the less the density - though as a rule of thumb i operate around the 5-10% mark.

Minimum 5%
Maximum 20% - too chary for more
mostly 7 - 10%

Depends from kw density at competing sites (assumed other factors similar).

Donīt forget to mention how you calculate the density. Different programs (online tools) do Keyword Density Analyzing differently. And do you use a stop word list or not.

P.S. should one use the stop word list or no?

I usually use 2-8 % (stop word option off) depending on the competition of the keyword. No use of making the text look "ugly" by using a lot of keywords if this isnīt necessary!
