First off I would like to thank the WebmasterWorld community for helping me. After this Google update my PR went up +1 to a PR6. I'm just going to list some of my questions right off the start.

1. What is the maximum or recommended amount of characters I should have in a)<title></title>, b)<meta name="description" content="">?

2. How many times should I mention my "main" keyword in a)<title></title>, b)<meta name="description" content="">?

3. How different does the title and description have to be? Is it dangerous having them the same? Mine are currently the same, but of course different on each page.

Also when does the Google deep crawl start?

Thanks,
Ryan

Keep a title to about 5 words (maximum) or about 60 characters including spaces.

Description - maximum 25 words (150 characters) and normally the first complete sentence of text on the page.

It is best not to repeat any words in a title or description - or putting it another way: "repeating doesn't help".
