I have a site in Spanish but I have not optimized it for popular Spanish keywords yet. I've been looking around on WebmasterWorld for a good while but most of the information on foreign language keywords is quite old.
I suppose what I'm looking for now, is some direction. Where do I start? Should I be optimizing my site for google.es, or google.com?
Using [adwords.google.es...] many of the phrases I search for are quite poor with not enough data and many of the related terms wind up being English. Is it good practice to mix Spanish and English terms together when optimizing for the Spanish language?
The deeper I go with this the more questions I run into and I'll undoubtedly post more ;)
I don't speak Spanish, so how feasible is it for me to successfully optimize my site to rank high by finding good keywords?
Thanks in advance everyone!
