In look at some of my competers i have noticed that the keywords in spammed to bits and also where as normally the order is title,description,keywords i have noticed title,keywords,description appearing and ranking high, whats you views on this one.

normally the order is title, description, keywords

I wasn't aware that these had to be in any order but I would doubt that it makes any difference to the SERP's.

sorry all books read genurally state title,description,keywords up till now i have always done this.

Order does not matter. Also keywords tag plays no role in SEO for the major search engines.

so long as you are not pulling dmoz or yahoo directory listings' descriptions - there is a meta tag to avoid this - you do see them highlighting the keywords in the description... no solid direct evidence on the lift but it seems to help us
