keyword - is it enough

how can we make sure that keywords will fetch us better position among all indexed sites in google or any other search engine...
is it enough if we have all the required keywords for the above purpose or still there are many other things which are required for it...

having the right keyword and put them in all the right places is just 1 of the aspects of getting good ranks i'd say an important one

Building real content around your keyword is the best way to get SEO results. All the other methods can help tweak your results, but without content your efforts will be wasted.

have good content along with having the right i mean the top keywords at most prominent places and with good density, frequency..
have them in title, desc...
other factors do matter but these are some of the main ones..
