Anybody know of a good little density analyzer that would run local on a win box?

toolman, I seem to remember a long thread on this a while back. I do believe NoteTab Lite (the free one) does a count. It runs on Winders.

To display the frequency of occurrences of individual words, click on the More button. Depending on the size of the text to analyze, this process may take some time to display the result. At the end of the list, you can read the total number of different words encountered in the text. Use the list's shortcut menu if you want to change the sorting order or copy the content to the clipboard or save it to a file.

It's got a lot of functions, and if it's got capability for writing macros (which I don't know) could probably be adapted.

You could try the AnalogX Keyword Extractor [analogx.com]. It runs locally and extracts from local or web files. Whilst it only extract single keywords and not phrases, you can adjust ratios for specific engine if you want. ((Free as well))

I have just downloaded the analogx keyword extractor.

I have run it on a couple of my pages but none of the words have any weight why is this ?

Where do the keywords need to be to attain weight ?

<added> In fact no pages seem to have weight even pages that are ranked very high in serps am I doing something wrong? </added>
any help appreciated.
