From where to start thinking about Keywords

Ok, we have a good website lots of content it is probably be indexed by SE's, but you want to go on to optimize for particular keywords, you wanna start a linking campaign but firstly how to figure out which keywords to optimize for your site. Where to start...

has anyone got any idea or we just have to go about from the main theme.

Hi, adeelshahid. Yes, the theme of your website is where to start. Have you tried any automated keyword suggestion tools [google.com]? Or your web logs to see keywords being searched? Those are two good places to start keyword research.

I have a also got another good idea for determining keywords that is,

To check all backlinks of most successful competitors websites and then check out anchor text on those sites to judge out which are the hotest keywords for the website.
