Hi,

I'm looking for recommendations of the best place to put commonly searched keywords into my webpages (when they do not fit in the content).

Imagine people commonly search for "cheap green widgets", but the word cheap does not fit with the content of the page.

Any ideas as to the best way to deal with this?
1. as a meta description?
2. in an ALT tag?
3. at the bottom of the page say: "commonly searched phrases: cheap green widgets"
4. others?

Thanks.

but the word cheap does not fit with the content of the page.

Then you should probably not put in on the page. Metatags and such are best used to describe what's on the page. If "cheap" is importnat, why not just make a seperate page for "cheap widgets" or whatever?
