Keyword use of "/"

Custom made

My website text uses them together as custom made/widget

does"/" cause problems?

Are you talking about within the address bar, or on the actual webpage?

I mean on the web page within text not on the address bar.

Also for some reason someone edited one of the words of my post, I wonder why?
