I meant WordTracker versus Keyword Discovery.
Free trial on KD website is not working.
My questions are:
How accurate is K Discovery statistical sampling, what percent from what engine?
How do they collect keywords?
What are their sources, search engines or spying cookies?
Can you run your own keywords through their database?
I checked KD website again and there is NOT possible to create “free account” without entering every personal information, plus charging my credit card for US$ 49.95 minimum for one month subscription. I could also not find any information that my money will be return to me if I find KD service not satisfactory for any reason.
For me something called "free trial" (let say even for 24 hours with limited abilities) should be free without charge to my credit card, otherwise it is misleading advertising.
By the way, I do not have any sentiments towards other keyword service(s).
As we all know the keyword services and tools come and go. The problem is that we all get stacked with the bills. In my case “free trials” in general help me to make the money saving decisions.
No hard feelings David, but I would also like to hear from real folks out there.

you do not need to include your real contact details...
and you do not need to include any credit card details either
so this is a free trial for intensive purposes...
we used to have the free search without having to create an account, but found that this was being used to such an extent that it was slowing down the service for paid users... so we had to reduce the load somewhat...
and no offence taken... for "real" people, there is a testimonials page... with some high profile people listed, that I know none would mind if you contacted them directly for their feedback...

I got the trial -- it does not include all of their tools, it does include keyword suggestions and a KEI rating for keywords.
Click on "login" button as if you already belonged. Click on link for new users. I was not prompted for credit card information. Again, it appears that not all of the tools are available without the paid subscription -- for example, I don't see a way to try out the competitive intelligence tool, which is supposed to tell you which search engines and keywords drive the most traffic to your competitors. Since the service cost more than WordTracker, and this feature is something WordTracker doesn't offer, I'd like to try it out for a day or two before subscribing.
If you login to the via the ci login page, the entry page there is a link to business.com report, which is a full functioned trial that covers all the CI reports we cover in this service.
