Simple Question -- "easy bookmarking" links

This is probably really easy, but I don't know the answer:

How do you make your site bookmarkable? I am talking about having a button or link on your page that will let someone bookmark your page right there, instead of doing it the conventional way.

This will work in IE but not NS:

From what I can tell, there is no auotmatic bookmarking script for Netscape. The best you can do is sniff the browser, and then either auto-bookmark the page for MSIE or post an alert message to Netscape users asking them to press OK, then ctrl D.
