I can't get netscape to recognize an animated gif on the website I'm putting together. I've placed it in the same file as the html page and nothing. I've used the path name to an images subdirectory, nothing. No problems either way with IE. Yet if I open the gif with netscape at home, it displays it no problem. The URL is ...

I still could use some help on the background problem if anyone is so inclined. Like I stated, a test page was able to display the background no problem...

but the index page that the cgi script calls, which lies in the same directory will not display it. Arrrgh.

If that doesnt help is it possibly because of the file name (your server will be case sensitive).
edit: just noticed the link to the test page, my first suggestion above should fix it, its probably due to permissions in your cgi-bin folder.
