Custom Browsers - Netscape or MSIE?

I've been building a list of my contacts at each client, so I can record what their OS and browser are for possible beta testing and debugging.

One person responded that their browser is Earthlink 5.0 -- apparently a customized version of one of the biggies. This is what they see when they click on HELP / ABOUT.

Does anyone know whether Earthlink uses MSIE or Netscape? Is there an easy way for my contact to tell?

I am not positive but I have heard that Earthlink is using a modified MSIE. Have you contacted Earthlink?

Thanks, folks. Contacting Earthlink is such an obvious idea -- sometimes I'm just too close to the issue.
