Create an index inside a post in blogger or in wordpress.com

That is similar to the index in the wikipedia pages. But inside a post.

Hi CarolLambert, I'm not sure exactly what you want to achieve. The term "index" is used for several purposes on the internet. I looked at a few wikipedia pages and did not find the term "index."

Are you referring to the vertical list of navigation links in the left-side column on wikipedia pages when viewed from a desktop or laptop computer?

Or are you asking about the "hamburger" icon navigation found in the upper-left corner when viewed from a mobile phone?

The code can be done in various ways, but where would you be getting the content from? The more you can describe what you want to do, the better we can try and help.
