Not sure where to place this, but I have an idea for a site, but I don't know how to do it exactly.

Idea:
2 sides to the same business- a salon. One side for men, one side for women. Initial screen gives you a choice. Mouseover highlights the image. Click on the one and that part of the site comes up. Only there is an arrow like an image carrousel arrow, which when clicked transitions to the other side of the site. Same arrow on the other side does the same.

Thoughts? Ideas? I'm guessing some form of jquerey is needed.
Thanks all!

I assume you don't literally mean "dual screen"?!

This is just "either or" navigation, so go with what you like.... but would suggest that you don't keep offering a switch to the "other side" on every page... that would be confusing. Once "red widget", stay that way. Once "blue widget", stay that way. Though you can offer (and should) a link back to the top index.
