Options for Creating A-Z Sitemap?

What are my options for creating an A-Z sitemap to help visitors find their way around a website -- a directory of pages? (Not something to be used for SEO.)

Do you just want links sorted alphabeticly? Or do you want them like shown in subgroups A, B, C etc.

Subgroups would be preferred.
